Seiwa Kasei Earns Bronze Medal from EcoVadis

The distinction places the company among the top 35% of companies assessed worldwide.

Japanese cosmetics manufacturer Seiwa Kasei has been awarded a bronze medal in EcoVadis sustainability assessment.

The distinction places the company among the top 35% of companies assessed worldwide. Receiving EcoVadis Bronze Medal places Seiwa Kasei among the top 23% of companies assessed demonstrates the results of its efforts made toward sustainability.

The company says it has been actively working to develop human resources and create a more inclusive and supportive workplace, with a focus on diversity and work-life balance. As a result, its score in the Labor & Human Rights category increased to 78, significantly exceeding the overall average, officials said. Seiwa Kasei also achieved a 6% increase in its total score compared to the previous year.

EcoVadis is a globally recognized sustainability assessment platform, with more than 175,000 companies worldwide assessed on their sustainability practices across four areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
